100 Years of 'Neues Frankfurt'<\/strong> \u2013 seit 2025 wird dieses Jubil\u00e4um begangen. Genau 100 Jahre her ist es auch, dass der Architekt Martin Elsaesser die Arbeit an seinem gr\u00f6\u00dften Projekt aufnahm: der Frankfurter Gro\u00dfmarkthalle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aus Anlass dieser beiden Jubil\u00e4en bieten wir 2026 auch wieder F\u00fchrungen in der ehemaligen Gro\u00dfmarkthalle an, die sich insbesondere diesem historischen Geb\u00e4ude widmen, aber auch das \u201aNeue Frankfurt\u2018 sowie die Person Martin Elsaessers und sein Wirken in Frankfurt zum Thema haben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, the history of the wholesale market hall also includes its current use as part of the European Central Bank. During our tour of the hall's ground floor, we will also inform you about the hall's transformation by the architects COOP Himmelb(l)au, the concept and architecture of the ECB's headquarters. (No, a visit to the towers<\/strong> the ECB is unfortunately not<\/strong> part of our tour.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group size is limited to 25 people. To register, we need your name as it appears on your ID card or passport. You must bring the relevant document with you to the tour for security checks. Anyone arriving without an ID or passport cannot take part in the tour. <\/strong>The security checks at the entrance to the ECB are the same as those at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
